It's been really long
years..decades..centuries...
it's been the big ages..
yet feelings did not cease..

I said, I don't bother
I said, let it be..
when deep within, your absence..
nibbled the life off me..

It was you who started it..
and then I fell for you
and then you left, like nothing ever
happened amidst us two..

you said you'd stay forever..
just said...you never did...
your 'forever' being just like you..
shallow and short-lived..

and now I fight the memories back
the thoughts invade my mind
you have moved on with ease, O love...
and I am left behind...

deep through my eyes, penetrates the charm
right then, the thousand deaths I die
to get placed in those eyes, so calm

I feel a soothing breeze around
when you hold my trembling hand
I feel the fragrant flowers bloom
onto my lonely, bare island

I can't affirm my presence, love
all through the path of life with you
I may not stand amidst the storm
to lead you,help you to get through

May stream of time just flow in haste
the memory - drops will wet the sand
No matter where my body dwells
My soul will always hold your hand

पुन्हा नव्याने...

पुन्हा नव्याने फुलती स्वप्ने
पुन्हा नव्या उलगडती वाटा
पुन्हा नवी अधरांवर लिहिली
नाविन्याची लोभस गाथा

अस्तित्वाचा नवा अर्थ अन्
जगणे सारे नवेच झाले
बुरसटलेले पाश तोडुनी
नवे पाखरू नभी उडाले

नव्या नव्याची नवलाई ही
व्यापुन घेते सारे जीवन
नव्या नभीची नवीन बिजली
छेदून जाते जुने कृष्ण घन

नव्या सुरांची नवी भुपाळी
नवी सुगंधी पहाट गाते
अधीर राधा पुन्हा नव्याने
श्यामनिळ्याची होऊन जाते

It's raining...

It's raining..
the showers are gently brushing ove the earth..
the flowers are wetting themselves to gain lusture
the raindrops are dancing over the puddles to form ripples
there's joy all around..!!

it's raining...somewhere deep inside my heart..
the showers have found their way out through my eyes..
my cheeks are wetting themselves to become dull..
the sorrow's dancing over my blood to form ripples..
and it hurts beyond extent!!

भातुकलीचा रंगलेला संपला ग डाव
आता तुला गाठायचा आहे तुझा गाव
आवर सारे तुझे तुझ्या सोबती घेऊन जा
आठवणी तुझ्या इथे तेवढ्या ठेवून जा

तुला पुन्हा मांडायचा आहे नवा खेळ
तुझ्या माझ्या सोबतीची संपली ग वेळ
विसर सखे ओळखीच्या जुन्या वाटा सार्या
हृदयाशी बांधलेल्या सोड जुन्या दोर्या

हरवुदे सोबतीने गुंफलेली माळ
हरवुदे वाट आडवळणी खट्याळ
खुणावती तुला तुझ्या नशिबाच्या रेघा
तुला-मला तोड आता धागा

नको सखे निरोपाचे उगा अश्रू ढाळू
जायचीच निसटून हातातली वाळू

सोसायचा तुझ्या-माझ्या नात्याला दुरावा
जायचे जरी तुला ग सखे तुझ्या गावा...

वार्यावर मंद निनादे

त्या अवखळ स्वरलहरीँना
अवखळशी कविता स्फुरली...

ल्याइली आज धरणीने
का गर्भरेशमी शाल
किरणांनी आकाशात
उधळला कशास गुलाल

पसरला रोमरोमी का
अवखळसा एक शहारा
का कसा कुणास्तव आज
हा निसर्ग नटला सारा

पसरली सुखाची चर्या
अन् उडून गेली खंत
अवतरे आज धरणीवर

नाव तुझे अधरांत

कुठे राहिला श्याम सावळा
लागे न डोळ्यासी डोळा
का मजला वचनात बांधुनी
उगा फिरविसी पाठ

झुरते कधिची रात्र बोचरी
दुःस्वप्ने घेतात भरारी
कुठली वैरीण सांग मुकुंदा
तुझी अडविते वाट

आर्त तेवते नयनज्योत हि
विरत चालली गर्द प्रीत हि
बघ चन्द्राविन व्याकुळ होती
तारे अवकाशात

बावरलेली प्रीत दिवाणी
अन राधेच्या डोळा पाणी
गेला सोडून श्याम सखा तिज
लोटुनीया विरहात

सलतो अंगागास दुरावा
येणा दाटून घननिळ्या रे
बरसून ये हृदयात
